How Used Refus to Install Windows Easy With USB Flashdisk

This tutorial on how to install the Windows operating system, be it windows 7, 8 and 10 by using a USB flash drive. Given the majority of netbooks currently does not include a DVD drive.

This makes the netbook user experience difficulty when you want to install the operating system to their netbook.

Therefore, to install the Windows operating system using a flash is the perfect solution for users of netbooks and for those who have difficulty when they want to re-install windows 7, 8 and 10 because the DVD drive is problematic or damaged.

To create a bootable flash drive, I usually use Rufus because of its use as simple and fast as well. By using this tiny application, you can install various operating systems, including Windows 7, 8 and 10 through a USB flash drive with ease and not use complicated.

2. Insert your USB flash drive, then open the application Rufusnya. Your device will automatically be detected. Then click the CD shaped as shown in the figure below.

 3. Please select the location of the operating system file, and then select Open. Remember well, the operating system .iso file format.

 4. Automatically Rufus will change the file system from FAT32 to NTFS. You can also often change the name of the drive on New volume label. Then select Start. In this tutorial, I do not change the name of the drive, leave it as it is, hehehe.
 5. You will see a notification that all the data contained on the USB drive will be formatted, so make sure that you are backing up all critical data contained in it. Then select OK.
 6. The process takes approximately 20 minutes. This application is very fast, but it all depends on how big the size of the operating system and the speed of the flash is used.
 7. Done! Your flash can now be used for Windows installation media, be it windows 7, 8 and 10. Finally please select Close.
Media installation is ready. The next step you should do is to set the BIOS to boot first from a USB flash drive. This was done so that the device is first read at the beginning of the boot is a USB flash drive.

The most commonly used keys to enter the BIOS menu is DEL, F1, F2, or Fn + F2, depending on the laptop manufacturer / motherboard.3. You will see the BIOS menu as shown below. After that, move to the Boot tab by using ◄ ► button.

4. The following figure shows that the device is at the top of the HDD. So your computer / laptop will boot from the first HDD.

5. In order for your computer / laptop to boot first from the flash, you need to put Removable Devices at the top. You do this by selecting Removable Devices, and then slide using the +/- button until at the top as shown below.
